Feeds: context matters more than counting alone
Logging times helps, but noticing hunger cues, fullness, and your family rhythm is often even more useful.
Feed timing is useful, but by itself it only tells part of the story. Early hunger cues, intervals that change over time, and how your baby behaves after a feed are often more helpful for understanding what is working.
Pediatric guidance consistently reinforces that babies do not all follow the same rhythm. That means logging should support observation, not enforce rigidity. A good history helps when you need to remember the last feed, coordinate with another caregiver, or bring questions to a pediatrician.
In Tico, we try to keep feeding logs lightweight. The goal is to reduce the effort of recording and increase the clarity when you review the day. When the app highlights patterns, it does so from the child history together with feedback from real parents and caregivers.
